Soccer Game Preview: Casa Grande vs. Eastmark

The Casa Grande Cougars will square off against the Eastmark Firebirds at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Casa Grande is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Canyon del Oro just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Dorados by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Eastmark's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Saguaro out 3-2. The Firebirds wouldn't have won without Olivia Fuhriman, who scored the game-winner.

Casa Grande's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Eastmark, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.
