Volleyball Game Preview: Concord Minutemen vs. Marquette Catholic Blazers

The Concord Minutemen will take on the Marquette Catholic Blazers in a tournament on Saturday.

On Thursday, Concord came up short against Northridge and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-27, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Marquette Catholic waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Marquette Catholic's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Concord was able to grind out a solid victory over Marquette Catholic in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 2-0. Do the Minutemen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
