Softball Recap: Good Samaritan Homeschool Beats Garrison for Their Fourth Straight Win

Good Samaritan HomeSchool waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged out the Garrison Bulldogs 7-5.

Kinley Fife made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs but no hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Garrison, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Good Samaritan HomeSchool will head out on the road to take on Hull-Daisetta at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Garrison, they will take on Cushing at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
