Softball Recap: Steele Canyon Comes Up Short

Steele Canyon and Eastlake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Steele Canyon had to settle for second. They lost 10-1 to the Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since March 10th.

Dannika Lakin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Jackel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Steele Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 18-14-1. As for Eastlake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-11-1.

As of now, neither Steele Canyon nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
