Volleyball Recap: Rowe Comes Up Short

Rowe lost against McAllen back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Rowe was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 34-32.

Lynette Palacios paced Rowe's offense, picking up 12 kills. Palacios got some help from Leana Palacios and her 19 assists. Sarai Cano controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Rowe's record is now 18-12. As for McAllen, their win bumped their record up to 22-13.

Rowe has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Sharyland on the 7th. As for McAllen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest on the 7th.
