Softball Game Preview: Berry Wildcats vs. Lamar County Bulldogs

Berry is 1-9 against Lamar County since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wildcats will welcome the Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. The last three games Berry has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Berry duked it out with Brilliant on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Lamar County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Knights as they made off with a 12-2 win.

Lamar County pushed their record up to 9-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Berry, they now have a losing record of 11-12.
