Northwest had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 61-41 margin over the Northeast Eagles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Eagles are ranked 320th).

Northwest's record is now 19-7. As for Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.

Northwest will take on Rossview on Tuesday. Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
