Owyhee put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Ralston Valley Mustangs as the Owyhee Storm made off with a 13-0 win. The Storm might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by nine runs or more this season.

Hunter Mahaffey looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Gage Haws was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. He is also on a roll when it comes to RBI, as he's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Max Menke was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Owyhee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Owyhee's record now sits at 6-0. As for Ralston Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Owyhee will take on Wellington in a tournament on Friday. As for Ralston Valley, they will square off against Bishop Manogue at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Manogue will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ralston Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
