Softball Recap: Round Valley Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Round Valley's offense. They lost 25-0 to the Willits Wolverines on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-1 back in March.

Round Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Willits, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Round Valley will challenge Tomales at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Willits, they will take on Laytonville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests.
