Tatum is 8-0 against Waskom since March of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Tatum Eagles will be staying on the road to face off against the Waskom Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Tatum will be strutting in after a victory while Waskom will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, while Tatum put up some runs, the same can't be said for Elysian Fields. Everything went Tatum's way against Elysian Fields as Tatum made off with a 6-0 win.
Meanwhile, sadly, Waskom is still looking for their first win of the season after 11 contests. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to Jefferson, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Tatum's victory bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Waskom, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
Everything went Tatum's way against Waskom when the teams last played back in March as Tatum made off with an 18-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tatum since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
