Basketball Recap: Oakridge Takes a Loss

Oakridge lost against McKinney Christian Academy back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Owls were dealt a 94-37 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs. The game marked the Owls' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Oakridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tre Hall, who posted 14 points and six steals. Hall is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trayden Brooks, who scored eight points and nine rebounds.

Oakridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for McKinney Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Oakridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-68 win against Live Oak Classical on the 24th. As for McKinney Christian Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 79-15 victory against Greenville Christian on the 24th.
