Contra Costa Christian had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They blew past the Fremont Christian Warriors 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Contra Costa Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-16.

Leading Contra Costa Christian to victory were RICHY LYMAN and Sean Cheung. LYMAN had 17 assists and 11 digs, while Cheung had 17 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Cheung has posted since back in March.

Contra Costa Christian pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Fremont Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Contra Costa Christian will challenge Making Waves Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fremont Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
