Baseball Game Preview: Downsville Demons vs. Union Parish Farmers

The Downsville Demons are taking a road trip to face off against the Union Parish Farmers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Downsville came up short against Simsboro on Monday, falling 11-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Demons in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Union Parish's offense. They lost 17-0 to Weston on Monday. The Farmers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Downsville's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Union Parish, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything went Downsville's way against Union Parish when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Downsville made off with a 21-15 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Downsville since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
