Softball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield lost to New Ulm Cathedral back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 9-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for New Ulm Cathedral, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Greyhounds beat Springfield by a score of 8-2 later that day.
