Schuyler and Crete are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Warriors will challenge the Cardinals at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Schuyler will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Schuyler's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Aurora. The result was nothing new for Schuyler, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Aurora from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Crete earned a 3-1 win over Northwest on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Crete.

Schuyler pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those five matches. As for Crete, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Schuyler was able to grind out a solid win over Crete in their previous meeting last Tuesday, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
