Football Recap: Westside's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Westside can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They managed a 13-8 win over the Impact Christian Academy Lions. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Lions two weeks ago, they had to take a 22-14 loss.

The victory got Westside back to even at 1-1. As for Impact Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Westside will welcome Atlantic Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Impact Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Andrew Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on March 28th.
