Chariho has gone 7-2 against East Greenwich recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Chargers will be playing at home against the Avengers at 6:30 p.m. Chariho will be strutting in after a win while East Greenwich will be coming in after a defeat.
Chariho is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Coventry, who was ranked 15th at the time (Chariho was ranked ninth). The Chargers put the hurt on the Oakers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Oakers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Chariho not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Coventry between 18 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-20.

Chariho can attribute much of their success to Reid McCann, who had ten digs, five kills, and three aces, and Jaxson Vachon, who had 15 digs. Those ten digs gave McCann a new career-high.
Meanwhile, East Greenwich suffered their biggest loss since April 10th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to North Kingstown. The Avengers haven't had much luck with the Skippers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
While East Greenwich was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-14.
Chariho pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for East Greenwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Chariho was able to grind out a solid win over East Greenwich in their previous meeting back in April, winning 3-1. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Avengers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
