Volleyball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sussex Academy last Tuesday, Dover came back down to earth. The Senators lost 3-0 to the Wilmington Charter Force on Friday. If the Senators were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Force when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wilmington Charter, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dover will host Delmarva Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilmington Charter, they will be playing at home against William Penn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Colonials will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Force surely won't give up without a fight.
