Softball Recap: Douglass Comes Up Short

Douglass was the 8-7 winner over Arp when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 11-8 to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Douglass' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Arp, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Douglass and Arp: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Indians will look to extend New Summerfield's seven-game losing streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Arp will try to hand Gladewater their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
