Basketball Recap: Durant Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Durant hadn't done well against Tampa Bay Tech recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Durant Cougars walked away with a 48-38 win over the Tampa Bay Tech Titans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Durant's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Niko Sosa led the charge by putting up 11 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Sosa a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Ocean Thompson, who posted ten points.
