Basketball Recap: Capistrano Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Capistrano Valley extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 2-5. They had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Woodbridge Warriors. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Woodbridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games.

Jaiden Sabino was his usual excellent self, going 6-for-9 from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The game was his 15th in a row with at least 16 points. Zaccaria Saleh was another key player, shooting 58% from the field en route to 15 points and seven boards.

Looking ahead, Capistrano Valley and El Dorado will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Woodbridge, they will square off against Muir at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
