Recap: Tanalian Lynx vs. Walter Northway Warriors
If the Tanalian Lynx were feeling good off their 67-38 takedown of the Holy Rosary Academy Knights on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Tanalian took a 58-41 bruising from Walter Northway on Thursday.
Several Lynx players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Erik McGee, who scored 17 points. That was a full 41.5% of Tanalian's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Fowler, who scored 14 points.
Tanalian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Walter Northway, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-2.
Tanalian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Holy Rosary Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. Holy Rosary Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Walter Northway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
