Volleyball Recap: Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Find Success

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau lost to Iowa-Grant back in August of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Red Hawks skirted past the Panthers 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Hawks.

Amara Brantner paced Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau's offense, picking up eight kills. Brantner got some help from Taryn Leighty and her ten assists. Brantner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Iowa-Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Luther at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Red Hawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Iowa-Grant, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fennimore at 7:00 p.m. on September 25.
