Football Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Northwest's offense. They had to suffer through a 31-0 loss at the hands of the Kenwood Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost nine in a row.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kenwood, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Northwest will square off against Creek Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Red Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kenwood, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Maplewood at 7:00 p.m.
