Norwell had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Fort Wayne Canterbury Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering Norwell have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grace Mann and Hallie Smith scored all three of Norwell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

The win was the fourth in a row for Norwell, bringing their record up to 12-5. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four matches. As for Fort Wayne Canterbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-2 record this season.

Norwell will face off against Bellmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norwell's defense better be ready for this one: Bellmont have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season. Fort Wayne Canterbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
