Volleyball Recap: Prairie Heights Panthers vs. Lakeland Lakers

Prairie Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeland Lakers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Lakers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 18-25, 25-8.

Nevaeh Orr paced Prairie Heights' offense, picking up four kills. Orr got some help from Bailey DeLancey and her four assists. DeLancey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

RYLEE AMSDEN was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Prairie Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Lakeland, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-10.
