Soccer Game Preview: Waukesha West vs. Franklin

The Waukesha West Wolverines will take on the Franklin Sabers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Waukesha West is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand West Allis Central a 5-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Waukesha West sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

They hit West Allis Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Keagan O'Keefe (2), Drew James, Christian Urbina, and Jacob Fortin.

Meanwhile, Franklin got the win against Milwaukee Reagan on Saturday by a conclusive 4-0. Franklin's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last eight contests.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 15-2-3. As for Waukesha West, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3-2.
