Basketball Game Preview: Litchfield Purple Panthers vs. Mt. Olive Wildcats

After both having extra time off, the Litchfield Purple Panthers and the Mt. Olive Wildcats will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Litchfield and five for Mt. Olive.

Litchfield saw some tournament action last Friday. They received a blow as they fell 53-36 to Central A & M.

Meanwhile, Mt. Olive played a tough match two weeks ago in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 59-32 loss at the hands of Nokomis. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Mt. Olive's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Litchfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
