Volleyball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley lost against Ste. Genevieve back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kamryn Dickey paced Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Dickey got some help from Hallie Abney and her seven assists.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-4. As for Ste. Genevieve, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-1 record this season.

Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against West County on the 15th. As for Ste. Genevieve, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Farmington on the 14th.
