Volleyball Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Phoenix Military Firebirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16.

Clark's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Phoenix Military, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Clark wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Steinmetz College Prep on the 5th. As for Phoenix Military, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Ogden International on the 7th.
