Soccer Recap: Skiatook Comes Up Short

Skiatook pushed their score to eight the last time they played Bristow, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bristow Pirates who were credited with the win. The Bristow Pirates got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Skiatook Bulldogs' three. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Skiatook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bristow, they pushed their record up to 5-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Skiatook will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on April 4th. As for Bristow, they have already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Inola on the 13th.
