Baseball Recap: Apple Valley Comes Up Short

Apple Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 6-1 to the Lakeville South Cougars. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Apple Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lakeville South, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Apple Valley and Lakeville South will both be playing Farmington the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
