Baseball Recap: Flowing Wells Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Catalina Foothills, Flowing Wells was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chapin Huskies, sneaking past 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Caballeros have posted since April 6, 2024.

Flowing Wells let Tommy Padilla and Josiah Kehoe run wild. Padilla scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Kehoe went 2-for-4 with one home run. The dominant performance also gave Kehoe a new career-high in hits (two).

The win got Flowing Wells back to even at 1-1. As for Chapin, their record is now 2-6.

Flowing Wells didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against Hanks on the 28th. As for Chapin, they have also already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Sabino on the 28th.
