Soccer Game Preview: Foster vs. Interlake

The Foster Bulldogs will face off against the Interlake Saints at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Foster's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Foster fell victim to Liberty and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Patriots.

Meanwhile, Interlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Lake Washington. That's two games in a row now that Interlake have lost by just one goal.

Interlake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Foster, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Foster beat Interlake by a goal in their previous matchup back in April, winning 1-0. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
