Basketball Recap: Milwaukee Bay View Takes a Loss

Milwaukee Bay View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 76-71 heartbreaker at the hands of the Washington Purgolders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Purgolders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 70-60 loss back in January.

Washington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Christopher Blue out in front who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. Those 19 points gave Blue a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rudy Baker, who posted 16 points.

Milwaukee Bay View now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Milwaukee Bay View nor Washington have any future games scheduled.
