Baseball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in March.

Chelsea's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Chouteau-Mazie, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-12.

Coincidentally, Chelsea and Chouteau-Mazie will both be playing Afton the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dragons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
