Los Alamos waltzed into their match on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Taos Tigers. Considering the Hilltoppers have won 13 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Los Alamos pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Taos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Los Alamos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taos, they will square off against Espanola Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Sundevils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.13 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
