Volleyball Recap: Lotus School for Excellence Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Lotus School For Excellence had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Two Roads Charter School Falcons. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

While Lotus School For Excellence was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Two Roads Charter School's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

The victory (which was Two Roads Charter School's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Lotus School For Excellence will head out to square off against Cripple Creek-Victor at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Two Roads Charter School, they will challenge William Smith at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Falcons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
