 Texas School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss. Their  rough  20-4 defeat to the Brentwood Christian Bears  might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Texas School for the Deaf of the  19-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March.
  McKenna Brentham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 On Brentwood Christian's side,  McKenna Counts was a major factor no matter where she played. She  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Counts was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Harper Counts was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Keira Black, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Texas School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Brentwood Christian, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-13.
 Texas School for the Deaf will be playing in front of their home fans against California School for the Deaf-Riverside at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Brentwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
