Basketball Game Preview: Aynor Blue Jackets vs. Georgetown Bulldogs

Aynor is on a four-game streak of home losses, Georgetown a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Aynor Blue Jackets will welcome the Georgetown Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 89-34, which was the final score in Aynor's tilt against Georgetown on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 74th).

Aynor better keep an eye on Amos Jones. He was instrumental in Georgetown's win, almost dropping a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds. Jones' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ean Mitchell, who posted 17 points and seven assists.

Georgetown was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Aynor, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
