Baseball Recap: Harrisburg Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Harrisburg was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Russellville Indians. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Harrisburg has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Russellville, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Harrisburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-9 victory against Higbee on the 16th. As for Russellville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against New Franklin on the 16th.
