While Silver put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Santa Teresa. The Fighting Colts blew past the Desert Warriors 20-0. The Fighting Colts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Ariel Alvarado made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Alvarado was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Silver got a massive performance out of Elena Morales, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs Morales has posted since back in March. Sophia Nemeth was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
