Volleyball Recap: Juanita Comes Up Short

If Juanita was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Eastlake on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ravens fell 3-1 to the Cedar Park Christian Eagles on Thursday. The Ravens have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 25-17, 25-12.

Molly Martin paced Juanita's offense, picking up eight kills. Martin got some help from Paige Kettell and her 15 assists.

Juanita's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cedar Park Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Juanita will host Hazen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Ravens' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Cedar Park Christian, they will take on University Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
