            Football Recap: Fort Bend Bush Broncos vs. Ridge Point Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            
Fort Bend Bush played a tough  game  on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by the Ridge Point Panthers and fell  62-14. The Broncos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  34-7.
 Fort Bend Bush's loss  came despite strong showings from  Anthony Poe and  Jamarion Jones.  Poe rushed for 80 yards and one  touchdown, while  Jones rushed for 83 yards and one  score on only eight carries. Jones really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 75-yard run.
 Ridge Point got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Brody Bartee out in front who threw for 268 yards and three  TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Another player making a difference was  Aiden Akins, who gained 65 total yards and three touchdowns.
This is the second loss in a row for Fort Bend Bush and  nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Ridge Point, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fort Bend Bush is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Fort Bend Elkins  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 10th. That  contest will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Brandon Smith and  Tyson Craft. Meanwhile, Ridge Point will  square off against  rival Fort Bend Dulles  at 6:00  p.m.  on  the 11th.
