Softball Recap: Mesa Verde Comes Up Short

Mesa Verde lost against Golden Sierra last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mavericks came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 21-3. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mesa Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Golden Sierra, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mesa Verde will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rio Vista at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Golden Sierra, they will welcome Woodland Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
