Auburn won the last time they faced Opelika and things went their way on Thursday too. The Auburn Tigers secured a 62-57 W over the Opelika Bulldogs. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly five points.

Auburn's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antwane Daniels, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 18 points and eight rebounds. Daniels has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tabari Allen, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Auburn and bumps their season record up to 21-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points over those games. As for Opelika, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-8.

Auburn has already played their next contest, a 63-50 loss against Central on the 8th. Opelika does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
