Kiefer had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Mannford Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 61-42. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Pirates are ranked 276th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kiefer's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Mannford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Kiefer and Mannford will both be playing Cushing the next time they take the court. Mannford will head out to face Cushing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Kiefer will host them at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
