Football Recap: Jayden Russi Leads Sequoia's Defense on Friday + How To Watch

After flying high against Washington last Friday, Sequoia came back down to earth. The Ravens fell 14-9 to the South San Francisco Warriors on Friday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Ravens couldn't quite close it out.

Sequoia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jayden Russi, Juan Rivera, and Luke Ostrander picked up one apiece.

Sequoia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for South San Francisco, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Sequoia and South San Francisco will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Ravens see the field they'll take on Half Moon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for South San Francisco, their break will end when they face Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
