Volleyball Recap: Seckman Takes a Loss

The Seckman Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Parkway Central Colts on Tuesday.

Seckman was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Elliot Burris and Camden Perstrope, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Caleb Fallert and his ten assists. He and Burris didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Seckman has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for Parkway Central, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seckman will face off against Fox at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parkway Central, they will square off against Mehlville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
