Sterling waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the West Fork Gators by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Rangers were the better team in the second half.

Asanah Gordon and Addie Luna scored all three of Sterling's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 34 goals.

Sterling's victory bumped their record up to 19-5-1. As for West Fork, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14-3 record this season.

Sterling and West Fork are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Sterling will square off against Angleton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sterling is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for West Fork, they will take on Lake Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Creek knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully West Fork likes a good challenge.
